Beautiful Andalusia

Andalusia located in southern Spain region. Andalusia has incredibly buildings and beautiful place to visit. The buildings are beautiful, which blend Arab and Christian architecture thick. As we know,Spain has been under Catholic doctrine, then dominated the Arab countries, to be taken over again by the Catholics. So, go to Andalusia and discover special places from the church to the former fortress.

Aljama Cathedral, Cordoba, it is one of the most breathtaking buildings that could be seen. Unlike the cathedral church in general, this one was built in the mosque.
You can imagine how this one unique building. Its history began in 785, when Abd ar-Rahman I, king of Andalusia at the time, proclaimed it Aljama mosque at the site of the church of San Vicente. When the power of the Andalusian region continued to strengthen in those days, the mosque is also increasingly expanded.

Hisham I initially added the pool and tower. Then 40 years later, Abd ar-Rahman II expanded the mosque be twice as large. In 951, Abd ar-Rahman III to form a new tower and expand the park to the north. What was unique this mosque is the mecca of the holy wall that is not facing Mecca. Wall was built from north to south and is divided between the south and east.
